Coaching is a goal-oriented process wherein your thought processes are stimulated in a way that
helps you achieve clear insight and clear up the blind spots in your thinking that affect your actions.
We'll work as much on developing you as a person as on clarifying and implementing your business goals. In that way we'll ensure you have the skills, the abilities & the confidence needed to take your business to the next level.
We'll uncover exactly where your passions and talents lie and bring them fully into play by triggering them. At the same time I'll help you identify the weak spots and how to supplement them; we'll define exactly what you need in order to succeed.
Although no one can be as experienced in your position as you are now, you can always utilize the expertise of others to leverage your own skills and capabilities to greater heights.
Do you find it hard to balance private life and building or expanding your business? I've experienced first hand how difficult this can be.
Through my coaching you'll be able to maintain a high quality of life without necessarily working less hours. You'll see how to manage with a constantly overbooked agenda and how to effectively prioritize tasks.
Remember that even if my professional background is an added value in understanding your business context, I wont just hand out solutions to you. I will offer additional insight and add a new perspective to your situation so you can find ways to achieve maximum personal and organizational impact.
Together we'll work on your project, we'll examine your challenges, your opportunities as well as set your priorities. We'll explore all the different options and their consequences. We'll examine the strategies you're currently using and figure out which ones could offer even greater benefits to solve a pressing problem or to take advantage of a major opportunity.
Through experiential learning you'll get to grips with the issues you are facing. New ideas and insights will get you energized and exited but it's your actions that get things done and only they will ultimately lead to tangible results.
During the sessions we will lay out the foundation for what you will do on a daily basis. This includes implementing your action plan, journaling, reading, and revisiting your goals and value statements. Once you start integrating new behaviors and thought patterns into your life, they will become your second nature.
In the beginning, you'll expend a lot of mental, emotional and even physical energy to keep up with your personal commitment to progress. Hang in there and be prepared for the fact that this may take some time. I'll provide you with accountability, a framework and support for achieving your goals.
All of this takes place within an open atmosphere and with guaranteed confidentiality. As a professional coach I abide by a strict code of ethics in order to protect my coaching client's interests.
This provides for a safe environment in which to explore your specific stumbling blocks and capabilities.
In principle, there are no taboos or subjects that are off limits within the coaching sessions. As a coach I do not judge or label you. You are the one deciding on where you want to go and what you want to share with your coach.
Coaching is hard work, not in the least for you as the client.
You are the one that needs to make a change, the coach will help you see how and will accompany you in this journey.
Friendship can offer an vital source of social support. Friends will accept you for who you are and may lend you their non-judgmental ear or a shoulder to cry on when things aren't going your way. They may even offer you some unsolicited advice on how they think you should proceed.
In contrast, the coaching process is inherently result-driven. Although the coach will never judge you, he will monitor your progress over time and confront you with his observations. Once you have stated your goal and have committed by defining the actions that you are going to take, this external supervision is intended to boost your self-control and willpower in working towards your goal. Recognizing the array of challenges inherent in behavior change, including all too human tendencies to procrastinate and overemphasize short-term gains over long-term wellbeing, it's important to know that you will be held accountable for your actions.
The goal in coaching is not to cure a 'sick' individual but to help a healthy person move forward. As a coach we are not in the clinical position of authoritative doubt. We don't treat clinical disorders. The goal is not to provide the client with a diagnosis or a cure. It’s not about simply coming to terms with the issues that you’re facing, but rather about actively engaging them.
In contrast to a counselor, the coach works from a position of ignorance as far as the client’s unique life is concerned, he does not assess the desirability of the goal; that's for the client to decide.
Coaching is fundamentally future-oriented, We won't necessarily go probing the past in search of causes or reasons. Coaching accepts where you are now and we look at this present situation to figure out how to better move forwards from here onwards. It's more a question of "What to do?" instead of "Why?".
